  • Inn at Stonington Homepage – This inn is right down the street from us– a mere two blocks away. It overlooks the harbor and Fisher’s Island Sound, with guest rooms, jacuzzi’s, fireplaces, decks, bar,and offers continental breakfast. It doesn’t get much better than this especially in the winter when you have the place to yourself.
  • High Acres Bed and Breakfast – Peter and I have been boating partners with a Marshall Catboat, named Credence, for the past 22 years. Peter and Liz Agnew own a beautiful patch of land 20 miles north of here so high that you can imagine seeing the mountains of Vermont from the kitchen. They raise horses and provide an escape from the harried life in the North East.
  • Another Second Penny Inn Is conveneiently located right off of exit 91 just 7 miles north of here. They send a lot of folks our way so there must be something “symbiotic” going on.
  • Stonington Vineyards – Producing European-style wines, including Cabernet, Chardonnay and Riesling. Information provided on wine tours and tastings.
  • Stonington Free Library – Searchable online catalog and information on children’s room, teen center and programs for adults.
  • Stonington Garden Club – Local affiliate of The Garden Club of America, Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut, National Council of State Garden Clubs and Garden Clubs of Southeastern Connecticut.
  • Stonington Harbor Management Plan – Reprint of plan adopted by the Town and the Borough of Stonington in May of 2000.
  • Old Lighthouse Museum – Stonington’s lighthouse, active until 1899, is now a museum, with exhibits depicting the lives of Stonington’s fishermen and farmers, merchants and shipbuilders, pottery makers, blacksmiths and many other trades.
  • Orchard Street Inn This romantic Bed and Breakfast is just three blocks away right in the heart of the Borough.  Turn left at Noah’s off of Water St and go two blocks and turn left at the Old Borough School and the in is a block and a half on your right.  It’s an easy walk back to Noah’s for dinner or lunch.
  • Captain Nathaniel B. Palmer House – Sixteen-room Victorian mansion built in 1852, now owned and operated by The Stonington Historical Society. Information on hours and admission provided.
  • Richard W. Woolworth Library – Archival facility with reading rooms and resources for historical searches. Operated by The Stonington Historical Society.
  • Stonington Village Improvement Association -Citizens of the Borough creating a better place to live and visit.
