This August Noah’s will be celebrating its 40th year in business! This is a photo taken not long before we opened back in 1979. 

We are very fortunate to have such a long history in the Borough, creating and establishing relationships that we still value today and forming new ones along the way. .

What’s your favorite memory of Noah’s?

JT – Every bite of anything we ate there, just the way we felt when going there, we loved it

PV – One of my favorite memories was sitting for my interview. I was offered the position of Sous Chef and I learned under some amazing people. Working at Noah’s we’re some of the best years of my life. Still very close to people with whom I’ve worked with at Noah’s. Great little place with big flavors, great atmosphere, and some of the freshest food around.

MH – All of the wonderful staff past and present who make it such a welcoming place. A yummy Easter treat that Stan used to make.

MT – Noah’s is my favorite restaurant. I’ve been coming whenever I can since I was in high school. Now that I’m an old man it’s nice to know some things are consistent. Unfortunately we live in Florida now and don’t get North very often but I think about the restaurant fondly.

We begin Mystic Restaurant Week this Tuesday March 5th! Get a two course lunch for $15 or a three course dinner for $30 until Sunday March 10th.

Yes, it was 1979, Dorothy sits at the end of the seven seat counter,with the beaded divider behind her that separated the kitchen and dining room.  Hood on the right wall of the kitchen was over the line where the food was cooked.  On the left you can see the  old chairs that lasted well into the early nineties.   There was a carpet on the floor.  Freezer and pie cases are on the right.  It was the Portside then and before that the Galley and before that Ernies and before that a grocery store and before that…
